Kitayama Masatsumu Shoten utilized Grosperity’s “Overseas Sales Representative” service to develop overseas sales channels for the company’s tawashi (scrubbing brush) products. After building its overseas development strategy based on domestic business information through regular meetings and conducting test marketing using Glosperity’s own e-commerce site. And then, Glosperity started sales activities for the U.S. market. Finally, we received orders from San Francisco retailers for several products, including kitchen and pet tawashi. Glosperity also provided transaction brokerage and export support. Currently, we’re focusing on expanding sales channels to acquire new clients while following up with existing clients.

Toma-Awning for cruisers had been successful in Japan and Marubishi Manufacturing Co. was looking to enter the U.S. market. However, previous investments in trade shows had not resulted in orders. Due to the difficulty of selling locally on their own, they took advantage of Grosperity’s “Partner Development Support” to find a sales partner in the US. Based on its domestic business and overseas track record, Marubishi/Glosperity narrowed down its targets, prepared English-language content, and expanded its approach to potential partners. We identified three partnerships and provided support for negotiations and strategy development. After concluding a partnership with one company, we will promote joint participation in U.S. trade shows and sales promotion collaboration, aiming to receive orders in the U.S. market.

CEO Message

My dream since childhood has been to “Travel around the world,”. After working in the U.S. and at a startup for global business, I supported global business development of “traditional Japanese goods with a history of over 50 years.” Based on that success/experience, I started my own business to support more Japanese companies in their overseas expansion. Since even a good product needs the right partners and sales channels to succeed in overseas expansion, I am using my network and experience in Japan and the U.S. to support the overseas expansion of Japanese products.
