Background

The client wanted to expand sales of locally grown agricultural products (naturally grown rice), which had responded well to past exhibitions, to the Taiwanese market but lacked
the know-how for overseas sales promotion. Since the company had already decided to plan a business meeting in Taiwan, we were asked to support the business meeting.

Support Content

After conducting research on the local market for the target products we found that the local U.S. market was fairly closed and that localization of packaging and other aspects was
highly important, thus we decided to expand sales in cooperation with a local sales partner who already had a track record in the market. We found a partner with the necessary
functions (local sales and import functions), created sales content, and conduct online and local sales activities in Taiwan. For business meetings, we support the attraction of
participants in advance and propose activities for the day of the meeting.

Results

As a result of these efforts the client succeeded in obtaining several potential partners and building relationships with potential customers at the business meetings. In addition,
interest in local products other than the target merchandise was also gained, leading to the development of other products.

From Now Onwards

Currently, we are continuing to support proposal activities for potential partners and customers. In the future, our company plans to provide support for post-order logistics and
proposal activities for other products as well.
